The Festival of Eternal Pure Joy & Ecstasy, Towards Nature
We are talking about the festival of such civilization where there is no animal sacrifice, no bloodshed, no non-veg., no uniform, no violence, no politics, no high and low, no conversion, no sect, no separatism, there is no business, there is only spirituality, to unite Oneself with God and Surrender to Himself.

Mantra of Kumbh Holy Dip (Snan)
गंगे च यमुने चैव गोदावरि सरस्वति।
नर्मदे सिंधु कावेरी जलेस्मिन् सन्निधिं कुरू ।।
Gaṅge ca Yamune caiva Godāvari Sarasvati ।
Narmade Sindhu Kāveri Jale’smin Saṃnidhiṃ Kuru ।।
Meaning : “O Holy Rivers Ganga & Yamuna, & also Godavari & Saraswati,
O Holy Rivers Narmada, Sindhu and Kaveri; Please be Present in this Water (and make it Holy)”

We should always keep this in mind that prayer (Puja), bath, meditation, rituals, sages and householders are different for men and women. Therefore, one should always perform prayer (puja) and rituals according to one’s Guru, Gotra and clan deity.
Unforgettable Number
Nowhere in the world do such large numbers of people gather in one event. Be it religious, sports, war, funeral or celebration. It has always been Kumbh Holy Dip (Snan) and this year 2025 it is Mahapurn Kumbh, which comes after every 144 years, this time more than 450 million people will take bath in the holy Mahapurn Kumbh, from 47 countries of the world.

If you go to any house, country or society in the world, you will definitely see the roots of Eternal Hinduaism. Human beings are born Eternal Hindu (Sanatani), no matter what form you adopt after that.

Statistics Data
The world is filled with astonishing statistics. The world is astonished to see these figures. In 2019, 240 million people took bath. In 2025, 450 million people will take the holy bath in 44 days, more than 17.5 million people took the holy bath on the first day, 35 million people took the holy bath on Makar Sankranti 14 January, 52.5 million people took the holy bath in two days.
4,000 hectares, 40 square kilometers which is divided into 25 sectors and this spread is a temporary city which is built in every Kumbh and every Magh month (Hindi Calendar month) bath, 150,000 tents, 3,000 kitchens, 150,000 toilets, 9000 prefabricated toilets, 23000 cemented toilets, 350 Mobiles Toilets, 500 VIP Toilets, 40,000 security personnel, 67,000 LED lights, 2,700 AI-enabled cameras, 1250 km of clean drinking water pipeline laid, 488 km of roads built, 10,000 working staff whose children were provided school for 2 months etc. 13,000 trains and 7000 buses have been facilitated. 44 bathing places (Ghats) have also been built, these are surprising figures.

Maha Kumbh is beyond physics (Science), my awe is not about materialism, statistics or the physical aspects of this event. But it is from that knowledge which physical knowledge has not even been able to understand yet.

Relationship with the Universe & Knowledge Science
It’s not about what our eyes can see. It’s not about size or numbers. What amazes me is what we call ancient, the knowledge of humanity’s connection with the universe.
It is a wonder to humans that its rituals are performed with reference to the alignment, position and timing of celestial bodies in the sky which reflect human relationship with the universe and its physical and spiritual influence on human destiny and future. There is no power structure or political policy driving it. This spirituality is indigenous to the faith. This is not about any organized religion. It’s not about hierarchy. This is just spirituality and nothing else. Which everyone should know and understand.
Hinduism’s understanding of humanity’s relationship with the universe, from the vegetation beneath our feet to the stars in the galaxy, is evidence of advanced knowledge in Hinduism that has supernatural roots and connections. The consciousness of meditating monks is able to reach beyond the boundaries of space and time. It breaks the illusion of duality of me and the universe.
Beyond Physics
I think today’s space travel by rocket is a primitive technology. Our physical body is not us. We do not need to travel anywhere physically because once we understand that we are the soul that is experiencing the physical, so from local particles, we become infinite, part of the whole, present everywhere, as entangled particles show, the barriers of distance and time lose existence. When we become pure consciousness, part of the divine light, we become timeless and formless.
It is a matter of awe when Himalayan sages, saints, sages and quantum mechanics come together to take a holy dip in the vast ocean of knowledge. It is not enough to say that Hinduism is concerned with nature. There is no duality; this is nature itself. To be a Hindu is to return to one’s natural state.
The Spirituality of Aquarius
When the combination of planets and stars is formed then the time of Aquarius comes. Which happens after the Sun moves from Dakshinayan to Uttarayan. This time is also called Makar Sankranti. This is the time when the Kundalini Chakra gets concentrated and the flow of Sushumna starts and the flow of Ida and Pingala stops, this time is also called Samadhista. This time is also very special for accomplishments and body flow.

Knowledge & Science of Aquarius
Knowledge and Maha Purna Kumbh
When the nectar pot came out during the churning of the ocean, the demons ran to take it and in order to save it, four drops of nectar fell at four places on the earth. The places where Kumbh is held are Haridwar, Prayagraj, Ujjain and Nashik.
Kumbh comes every 3 years, Ardha Kumbh comes every 6 years, Purn Kumbh comes every 12 years, Maha Purn Kumbh comes every 12 years, after 12 × 12 = 144 years.

2. Nashik (Godavari): Kumbh is organized on the banks of Godavari in Nashik when the third day of Jupiter and Sun comes into Leo.
3. Ujjain (Dhara): The fourth Kumbh takes place in Ujjain when Jupiter enters Leo and the Sun enters Aries. This Kumbh Mela is held on the banks of Shipra River in Ujjain.
4. Prayagraj (Ardh Kumbh): Ardh Kumbh is organized on the banks of Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj when Jupiter enters Aries and Sun Moon enters Capricorn on the new moon day. This date is called Kumbh Snan Yoga. On this day, by taking bath in Sangam, the soul easily attains heaven.
According to the Puranas
According to the Puranas, in Kshirsagar, where the Devasuras together churned the ocean. The churning rod was Mandar Mountain, the rope was Vasuki and Vishnu himself in the form of Kurma had carried Mandar on his back. At the time of Samudra Manthan, Pushpak Rath, Airavat Hath, Parijat Pushp, Kaustubh, Surabhi and finally Dhanvantari himself appeared with Amrit Kumbh. He gave the said Kumbh to Indra.

Indra handed him over to his son Jayanta. On the advice of the gods, Jayant ran towards heaven with that Kumbh. Seeing this, Daityacharya got angry and ordered the demons to snatch the Kumbh from him by force. The battle between gods and goddesses started. After fighting for 12 days the group of gods was defeated. Meanwhile, drops of nectar from Kumbh fell at 4 places in many places on earth, and since then, ‘Kumbh Yoga Parva’ is being celebrated at the same places. The 12 days of the gods are 12 years in the underworld. The reason is that this festival is held every 12 years to take bath in Kumbh.
देवानां द्वादशाहोभिर्मर्त्यै द्वार्दशवत्सरै:।

Jayante Kumbhaparvani Tatha Dvadash Sankhyaya ।।
Sun, Moon and Jupiter kept protecting the Amrit Kumbh during the battle between gods and goddesses. When the combination of these three occurs at a specific zodiac sign, then Kumbh Yoga occurs.
Science and Mahapurna Kumbh
When it is the time of Kumbh, a combination of planets and constellations is formed which removes the defects of humans. And cures all types of diseases. When the sun’s rays fall on water, the water undergoes anti-viral and anti-bacterial formation. Due to which this medicine works inside and outside the body. Due to which we are protected and we avoid infection.
When Sun and Moon are in Capricorn in the month of Magha, due to its astrological effect, reflection of sun rays in water is beneficial for the body. Due to this, the water here becomes medicated and like nectar at this time. Its effect is maximum at the time of meeting of sun and moon rays on Mauni Amavasya. Due to which we avoid infection.
Best time for Meditation and Sadhana
Both the place and time of Maha Kumbh ensure the presence of special energy. The astronomical events at the time of Maha Kumbh are important not only from the religious point of view, but also in terms of physical and biological effects.
The changes in the position of the Earth and planets at this time have a deep impact on the human body and mind. During these astronomical events the Earth’s magnetic field becomes active, increasing the flow of energy in the confluence zone. Astronomers believe that during this time, through meditation, yoga and spiritual practice, man can take his consciousness to a higher level.
Amazing Co-ordination of Astronomy & Tradition
A wonderful coordination of astronomy and traditions can be seen in the Maha Kumbh. Astronomy has been a part of Indian traditions since the Vedic period. Religious rituals and festivals are organized by studying the movements of the Sun, Moon, and other planets. The importance of bathing in Mahakumbh is directly related to astronomical events. It is believed that celestial energy makes the water of Sangam sacred and bathing in it destroys sins.
The methods of meditation and sadhana are decided on the basis of astronomical conditions, so that humans can connect with cosmic energy. The impact of astronomical miracles during Maha Kumbh is not limited to spirituality only. Scientific research shows that astronomical events also affect the human body. During this time, the energy generated between the Earth’s magnetic field and the planets also affects the biological functions of the human body.
Scientists believe that due to astronomical events, water molecules change their structure, due to which the water of the confluence becomes more pure and energetic. This purification of water in Mahakumbh also makes it important from the point of view of purity and health.

Mahakumbh is Mentioned in Ancient Texts
The historical and cultural aspects of Mahakumbh are also associated with astronomical miracles. Mahakumbh is mentioned in ancient texts, highlighting the connection between astronomical events and religious rituals. Texts like Skanda Purana, Padma Purana and Mahabharata describe in detail the events and astronomical events of the Maha Kumbh. It is told in these texts that celestial energy not only affects human life, but it also plays an important role in maintaining the cosmic balance.
Astronomy and Modern Science
Modern astronomers and scientists also take keen interest in the astronomical events of Mahakumbh. By studying the movements of the planets and their effects, it has been proven that astronomical events affect the Earth’s atmosphere, climate, and human mind. For example, organizations such as NASA and ISRO have studied planetary movements and their impacts in an effort to understand how these events affect Earth’s natural cycles.
The astronomical wonders of the Maha Kumbh reflect how ancient Indian/Bhartiya traditions understood the profound mysteries of the universe and incorporated them into every aspect of life. This event is a living example of the confluence of astronomy and spirituality.
Today, when we combine modern science and ancient traditions, Maha Kumbh teaches us that through astronomical knowledge and spirituality we can understand not only the universe, but also the infinite energy within us This message of Maha Kumbh is a source of inspiration for mankind, which shows how science and spirituality together can open new dimensions for humanity.
